as indian ponies run free
across the prairie
Magnificent, proud
beauty no where else found
Stallion always on guard
Feathers of the tribe
woven into the mane
long and flowing
High in spirit
willing to give
anything the master deems
Indian ponies
always wild, always free
Stand up for rights, with dignity
Ready to run,
with the touch of a heel
Spirit never broken
Feathers of the tribe
woven into the mane
long and flowing
As into the wind
they run
Always running, into the wind
Listen closely
soon you will hear
The beat of their hooves
pounding on the prairie
