A Millon Pictures
Many songs, so many lines
fleeting moments
captured in time
cast a million pictures in my mind
you might say that it's a joke
I can prove it here
It's not easy feeling so alone
I wish I could be
the way you pictured me
and it's hard
but maybe you already see....
It makes no difference
what is wrong and what is right
it makes perfect sense
that you are my cover at night
I can feel your heart beat
It's the reason that I can sleep
and I pray that these nights
stay forever this way
in my dreams I hold you so tight
in my world you make things seem right
I know I am flawed
and faded dusk breaks all too fast
the hour glass seems to be ticking
it's just my paranoid way of thinking
It makes no difference
it photographs just the same
a millon pictures of love
all stamped in your name
it makes perfect sense
for you I am eternally grateful
I have your love
cradling it oh so carefully
it's you I cherish.....
