I have just got off the phone chatting to my Rich,
We were talking about our future together,
And how we will ride any storm that blows,
And deal with the harshest of weather!
And we chatted about our future wedding,
Talking of this and that, you know, life;
And he asked would I be ok with the fact;
I'd have to live a poor life as his wife!
And this is what I told my Rich,
And this I honestly tell it true!
We are the richest of all people,
We have the love of us both so true!
And when we are asked at the alter,
On our special wedding day-
If I'd take you for richer or poorer!
This is what you'll hear me say;
‘I take you for richer or poorer!
Because the richness that I feel;
Is the richness of your love for me!
And the poor part, well that's also real!
We may be poor in material things,
And money may be so very tight,
But we are the richest people alive,
For we sleep together hugged up every night.
And money doesn't matter you know!
As long as we have food on the table,
Then that is all we can ever want,
For it compliments a love so stable.'
So you see, the richness in life isn't money!
Because that's just another fallacy!
The richness true, the richness for me and you;
Is the love I have for you, and your love for me!
So no it doesn't bother me in the slightest!
For all the money in the world this day;
Could never compare to the riches I have;
The richness of you being in my life to stay!
So will it bother me in the slightest?
Will it make life hard or bad?
Will it cause such friction?
That it would give us a life so bad?
Nah, because I love you!
And because you love me!
We have all the riches in the world!
Because we have each other!
Me and my Skanky!
That's why;
