Time And The Warrior
~I wield a silent harmless sword,
And slay the days like cattle.~
I am a knight without his horse,
Walking into unfair battles.
~You are a slave of unborn birth,
A child I will claim.~
You move and turn the Earth,
And leave behind only names.
~There is a God and me he pays,
To tend his royal garden.~
There lies between each night and day,
A gray and feral warden.
~Come forth and pay your life to me,
This dowry I am owed.~
Come forth and try your best to see,
What tricks that I have stowed.
~Alas I've waited and now you're mine,
Your page is gray and old.~
Alas you'ved missed one ounce of thine,
For there my secret bodes.
~By now you know that I am pleased,
To play such games and win.~
By now you know that you've been teased.
You've taken me but missed my kin.
