Cool
Is rising above
the world's madness
at any age,
respect, integrity,
simplicity, compassion,
trusting your instincts,
I have known a ten-year-old
more mature than a thirty-year-old,
I have known a sixteen-year-old
more in touch with their emotions
their dreams than a forty-year-old,
cool
requires understanding,
let live, embracing the
beauty of life,
open mindedness,
smoke flying Jazz
beneath Blues wisdom,
canvases ready for
our special kiss,
some people need
to be left alone to create,
innovate, push the boundaries
that constantly try to prison us,
cool
is wasting no time
judging,
conquering
our uniqueness,
celebrating life
with open imagination
to all it's magic,
Love's kiss
waiting
by the fountain.
