 Cultivated Seeds

Cultivated Seeds

Being fed unknown elements,
as they enter the blood stream,
clogging flow throughout my being,
yielding my mind to travel
with roots of no direction,

Must stay alert, day and night,
and rid of wrongful, cultivated seeds,
My eyes cannot vision the evil within,
so I must heal with my sense of touch
and no longer hunger and slouch.

Craving for natural nourishment,
not of those imprisoned in canned goods.
Must find a fresh seed to plant in untouched soil,
for the evil weeds cannot find their way,
and prey in the soil of deserted lands.

From one seed will grow many,
if left alone, growth will cease.
So I will seek and find a well
to quench their thirst for growth.
For I also yearn for hearty roots.
