I just love this ~~~~

In the over-all scheme of life, what lasting impression will you or I
leave? As part of some hospice training I was to consider what others
will remember about me or what I want them to remember (which may be two
very different things). It can also be a powerful question for someone
who is knowingly facing death.
Accounts of our life can be very different depending on
whether the focus is on the jeers or the cheers. Most of us have enough
good in our lives to be made out to be a hero and enough bad in our lives
to be made out to be a villain. Snapshots of life can catch you with a
stupid look, an angelic smile or an angry glare. Depending which photo
is selected, a very different impression is left.
GODS RECORD KEEPING
Many religions are based on weighing the good and bad deeds. If the good
deeds outweigh the bad, then heaven is the reward. If the bad outweighs
the good, well, pack light for an eternal heat wave. Both Peter and I,
and perhaps you too, are eternally grateful that God keeps records a
different way.
God offers a forgiveness that does not remember our sins against us. He
wipes the slate clean and works within us to change our desires into
godly desires. While he tells us to go and sin no more, his forgiveness
is available seventy times seven times. That is the standard he gave the
disciples and I do not believe Jesus would command them and us to do more
than he himself is willing to do. However, not only are our sins
forgiven and cleansed, but as our love for Christ increases and fills our
life, our desire for sin is replaced by a desire to please the One who
loves us.
yup, pretty good stuff, huh, lol, have a Great Day, and stay cool..
