WHERE'S MY DADDY?

Quarter of ten at night
Quarter of a man my might
Queen of the coffee table verse
Princess of the garnet sofa comes first

Before him or you or any man
Because tonight this woman's plan
Is not with loves lost
Been there paying that cost

Because they want with their personals
Then they arrive with their arsenals
Of male weapons to blow it away
When all you wanted to do was play

Dress up, teenager wonder
Those men cannot put asunder
The womanchild quivering in you
Reverence relieved each moment true

When you were that was
Who loved me just because
Turning you on was my only plan
Where sweetness drips in Candyland

What you going to do now she's lonely?
Refused to have her as your one and only
Why you forgetting that womanchild who prayed...
That you'd play my strong, loving daddy who stayed...
