I don't need to know what is my blank page
I don't fight anymore, gone is the rage
and I don't cry anymore, but sometimes my skies get cloudy
sometimes them clouds rain down upon a dream,
but the view I choose to see
is the one that doesn't give up
the one that doesn't give in

Take a walk behind the eyes
get to know the person behind the face,
Is it someone you can really love?
I look sometimes and want to shatter
the mirror that shows all these flaws
the view of the concrete wall
I put up sometimes
when I am scared....when I am faced with tough decisions
do I crack under it all?

So many smiling faces lie
the trust factor evaporates
with no surprise
and I try to do what's right
but I guess it's in the eyes
of the beholder
so from my view I am steady
and from your distance
I am cold
but I have decided you can't decide
what, who or where my future holds

Take a walk behind the eyes
get to know the person behind the face,
Is it someone you can really love?
I look sometimes and want to shatter
the mirror that shows all these flaws
but then I look again
and realize I am stronger
than I ever really believed
I am beginning to see
the woman behind the face
is someone I can be proud of
yes I can smile from this view....
