I guess it's easy to blame oneself;
And not put the blame on another!
Take the pain, and no matter the gain,
I guess you'd rather it be you than the other!
Things happen in life that we hate,
Can't understand the reasons why;
Things go wrong in our life;
That makes us break down and cry.
I guess it's hard to overcome;
Some atrocities in our life,
But we should never let them consume us;
And burden us with strife!
We don't ask for problems you know!
They just seem to appear;
But I just think you should know this;
It's not your fault, I'm making that clear!
I guess you are beaten down so hard;
That you can't see the tunnels end;
But it's there, just open your eyes!
And let peace become a friend!
In life many things come to pass;
Things we would rather not have transpire;
But they do, and always will;
And that doesn't mean your life is in the mire!
I guess that you're feeling hard done to!
And that life has let you down;
Well guess what? Nope, that's not so!
So shake off that silly frown!
You have a life, a good one,
Not much health problems to bear!
So thank your stars and make a vow!
That you will stand tall and make it out there!
I guess you feel like life is over!
And that you've lost everything you hold dear!
Well listen up, cos that's not so!
So rid those thoughts, and lose that fear!
Everyone on earth have problems!
And some are harsher than others are!
But remember this, and remember well!
You have made it in life, this far!
So lose the negative feelings!
Lose the fear you have within you true!
Focus, find that strength you have!
Yes my friend, I am talking to you!
Because nothing worth having comes easy!
And there is always another way!
But you have to have faith in yourself!
So find it, and hold on to it this day!
