SEE YOU IN SUNSET


The sky is pink and watercolor gray
We could compliment the other the same way
If we were across the sky
Together in God's heaven we'd lie

At rest, with peace together
As you are now inside the sunset
Through harsh and stormy weather
With a strength that doesn't forget

The beauty of our view
When heartfelt pain's anew
The way it calms the angry voice
Leaves one another in the choice

Of pink and watercolor gray
To blend in such a perfect way
To hold until the sun has turned
The light of you in me does burn...
