Banana Sunbeam Sunday
Usurp the landscape
And perspire a solar cloud
Deliver me a flower
Young and fresh,
To investigate
The river bottom
And barometric pressure
Of overheated flesh
Underscore with heritage
The regulations of the day
Even gargoyles of morality
Seem to bask in this lazy sun
The glare has blinded their discrimination
And sent it down the waterslide
Of equanimity and sensorial titillation
Cool liquid laughter
Hot summer iceberg blue
Photon dancing bear
Shake the city from your hair
Inhale a meadow cows and all
Distant tree line hidden life
Bird bug tapestry
Furry ferret fish fabric -
Life uncorked and spilled around
Given time it walks erect
But now it just plays music
Fire in the sky
To fire in the belly
August moon come
Inspire a rendezvous
With smile invitations
And hedonistic eyes
A star studded mystery
Soft bottomed pond
Foxhole
Sunset bleed Day's death.
Inevitable night
Bring the gift of shadows-
Despite their lies
I have been reduced to that
Which disappears on contact
And the world that spawned my desire
Chases my rejection
And leaves the void to shine like diamonds
