Rapturous Heart
My rapturous heart unfolds before me
for it has nothing to give any more
gone is the happiness and love
that was once captured there,
disappeared forever are the memories
that were once locked deep within.
Now, all I feel is a withered thing
twisted, hurt and vengeful -
love can be beautiful when in full bloom
but when the petals fall
you see a change in the season!
