The Pain Is Still There
A year ago today
London, England was rocked by bombs,
On the subway station at King's Cross
And street cars were blown apart.
The heartache still remains
And the tears still flow,
After what had happened
Exactly one year ago.
The names of the relatives
Were called aloud,
While the the bell tolled
There was silence through the crowd.
I don't think
The hurting will ever stop,
A year ago today in London,
Where the pain lies in a teardrop.
