There are so many people in the world today and yet it seems the more people there are the more lonely we become. This poem speaks about being a castaway and losing fellowship not just with fellow man, but with our Creator also.
Remember the greatest commandment Jesus taught was
Love One Another. Susan
Are you a castaway as I once was at one point in my life?
Do you feel the heartache of destruction the never ending strife?
What demons chased you in your sleep and haunted every hour?
Did people make you cruel and cynical; turn your heart forever sour?
I have been as you are now lost in some constant haze.
Hidden in my palace strong from others vindictive ways.
The Lord he gave me back my strength a suit of armor true,
and if you ask him my friend. He'll do the same for you.
So what do you have to gain if you keep that attitude?
You harden up your heart and show no gratitude.
You will never see the streets of gold or live in harmony.
God is waiting for your call so he can share the victory.
