Still
I thought that I would pen some lines
to show how I literally feel
in hopes that you'll always recall
that my fondness for you is real
I dreaded that this day would come
'cause I would have to say good-bye
My lonesome heart aches so deeply
I just want to lie down and cry
Before I go I'd like to say
that I hope this is not the end
But if for some reason it is
thank you for being my friend
I know it hasn't been easy
to love each other like we should
I regret the times I hurt you
and would take them back if I could
Since from the very beginning
I just wanted to be with you
Now that we have to be apart
I'm not sure I know what to do
Except pray to God our Father
for understanding of His will
Hope it includes us together
'cause I cant help loving you...still
