A young man with a price on his head, to young to die but he knew he would soon be dead.
He lived all alone hiding away from the law in some old cave on a far distant shore.
He was branded a traitor but he knew not why, yet his country said he had to die.
He lived his short live as a Troglodyte because he was afraid to stand up and fight.
He was innocent of any charge they had said and he would sooner die alone than on a prison bed.
Then one grey morning without the sun rise the whole of the land suffered for their lies.
A catastrophic tide just came up from nowhere and in it's wake left nothing to spare.
All around was the deep blue sea with nothing but debris as far as the eye could see.
For twenty years he lived in that cave and the wake of the flood it became his grave; but the Troglodyte did not die in vain because all his accusers suffered the same.
