JenniferI never saw the sweet child face, Or held her little hand. I never held her in my arms, But in my heart she stands. You had her with you every day That God granted her to you. You'll cherish every moment Though they were much too few. Though the pain will never fade, And your tears will fall as rain, Some day you will recognize That your loss is Heaven's gain. Children are a gift from God, Loaned to us for awhile, Entrusted in our loving care, They are the light of the Savior's smile. Sometimes He calls them back to Him Much sooner than we understand. They become part of Heaven's Light And rest in His unchanging Hand. She now can run and jump and play Like all children are meant to do, She's in the Land of Unending Day Waiting with God for you. She'll always be a part of you, You'll hold her always in your heart, But rejoice that she's in Glory now And look for the the day you'll nevermore part. May God give you peace and comfort In this your time of grief. May you rest upon His promise That He never you will leave. She sees you now from Heaven's Gate And sends you all her love And waits for the day to come When she welcomes you to that Home Above.
