My Prayer For You
Each day I say a prayer for you,
Most days two or three or more.
I make sure to thank the Lord
For the day that you were born.
I thank Him for your life
And for bringing you into mine.
I thank Him for your friendship,
And pray it stands the tests of time.
I pray you have strength and courage
To do what you know is right.
I pray when darkness surrounds you,
That you'll clearly see His light.
I pray that you have clarity and joy
Instead of confusion and fear.
I pray for quiet and stillness
That His voice you might hear.
I ask for His hand upon you
To protect you from all harm,
That nothing comes into your life
To give you cause for alarm.
I pray He gives you wisdom
For every choice before you.
That your every prayer is answered,
Your every dream comes true.
I ask He bless the work of your hands,
In everything you do.
That you take pride in your work
And give it the best of you.
I pray for you to know the truth,
That you're not deceived or living a lie.
I pray you'll seek His guidance
And see His plan for your life.
I pray His angels surround you,
Bringing help from Above,
And that the burdens that you carry
Will be lightened by His Love.
I pray God brings you blessings,
More than your heart can hold.
And joy and happiness divine
That are as yet untold.
I say a prayer for you each day
For peace and comfort too.
That each day be a blessing
For your family and for you.
