America Cried Loudly


There is a place
We all must face
The trouble with religion
Is when it is not love

There is a time
We all must rhyme
The positive in poetry
Is when we speak aloud

There is a state
Where there was hate
The heavens could not save
That is what we call nine one one

Today makes it five years ago
No fun
Nothing's been done
Why is it so?

President
What have we spent
On this war with the world
Is it worth it?

God is love
Just look up above
You will see
Is fighting the right way?

Love is kind
Why are we blind
Killing our men
Is burying their strength Christianity?

Kindness is from God
Maybe I am odd
But I just pray for peace
Is all the world in chaos?

Five years ago
Little did we know
The war would never end
Is it going to leave all of us dead?
