Through Jimmy's eyes

Through Jimmy's eyes, sex is holding hands
And a gentle smile, from someone who understands
He has no worries about paying rent or mortgage arrears
Jimmy doesn't need to go out and get drunk on beers
To Jimmy, not going to the Day Centre, at the weekend is not fare
But relationships, learning to drive, getting that promotion, he doesn't care
Jimmy likes to go swimming and watch the same DVD over and over again
Jimmy can't understand why it's wrong to kiss his cousin whose 10
Jimmy doesn't go on the Internet
Jimmy cares about what meal he's about to get
Jimmy doesn't go out and have one night stands
Jimmy doesn't worry about his future plans
Although Jimmy thinks about all these things
He expresses himself in his dreams.
