I see you war torn, battle scarred, and bruised
Feeling tired, alone, abandoned, and used
Come here and lay your head in My lap resting
The rain's a comin with times of refreshing

Mountain air crisp and clear blowin in
Allow the breeze to pick up again
It's okay to rest a bit and strip off your gear
Rest in My arms, it's okay, I am here

I am never very far
Listen to the whisper in your heart
The pain eliminated, the illumination in the dark
I am He who binds up the broken heart

Simply call upon My Name
Never again will you remain the same
I am He who bore your stains
I will unshackle all your chains

Through every trial and testing
I am He who brings the times of refreshing
Come here and lay your head in My lap resting
The rain's a comin with your times of refreshing

Allow it to sweep over your soul
Every area unlocked, the depths to which only I know
I who created you
I know how to renew and refresh you too

Come here and lay your head in My lap resting
I am bringing in the rain with your times of refreshing

Acts 3:19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted,
that your sins may be blotted out,
when the times of refreshing
shall come from the presence of the Lord;

Matthew 11:28-29 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me;
for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
