September sun and back come the flowers that were all washed out by August showers.
Sitting on the terrace with a clear blue sky remembering back to a hot July.
Heat now rising as it was then but no sitting out until way past ten.
Nights get colder and the evenings are short Bar B Q and garden party's we have to abort.
September sun in a sky so blue, grass every morning covered in dew.
Leaves on the trees now turning yellow and late roses appear like small puffs of marsh-mellow.
Berries now form in masses galore waiting for predators to pack up and store.
Soon it will all be gone, it don't last for long the September sun the one that should belong.
September Sun the best of all, first in the queue to line the fall.
