From the Heart Through the Pen

Will She Listen

She told me what she needed
So I read it and kinda don't believe it
But alas I will heed it
Straight up I was
Straight up I am
Real Talk
Is all that you'll hear
Come from the lips of this man
But that was the problem
She heard
But did she listen
Not until I put up some distance
Now I'm the one who lied
Even though from the jump
I told her how I felt
I swear I tried
She heard what she wanted
I told her right now
This wasn't what I needed
I had to try to see
If the feelings really were there
But before I could
She sent me off with a scare
Not knowing in the process
She awoke thoughts of one
Thoughts I believed to have disappeared
So baby, it's not that I lied
It's just that you made me realize
Something I thought I threw out my heart
Something that I thought had died
You're truly something special
A true unique soul
But next time before you jump
Get those feelings under control
No way is this meant in harm
Also you think I just write
About "some girl"
Truth be told
I write about all the True Beauty
I find in this world
All who I speak about
Can be seen in my writing
There's key words that shows their identification
But some poems are pure imagination
I express all my emotions
From the Heart Through the Pen
For short FHTP
And to set records straight
"Some girl" is actually
One Beautiful Lady
