Episode ii

I feel her standing by me
I see her over there
But when I look more closely
It's just not quite her
There's a flash of movement
A clothing rustling sound
Yet no matter how fast I turn
There's no one else around
I close my eyes
And my fingers press
Against very texture
Of her dress
That under my hand
Revealed more and more
As it slowly slid
Down to the floor
To lie a discarded
And crumpled heap
One of those memories that floats
In and out and through my sleep
I can feel her presence
But I cannot see
Yet I know
She stands by me
Perhaps I was allowed
Before drawing my last breath
To meet my guardian angel
My very own angel of death
Now I move through life
Without fear or care
I know she watches
Know she's there
And now I know
When comes the end
I'll meet again
My very certain friend
