Poetry For Everyday People

Sunday Change

We changed
our living room
around, you can
see the garden from
every seat now, butterfly's
by day, moon lit roses, walk
ways,

a perfect reading chair,
reading room, writing,
watching football, reading
the Sunday paper, lighting
candles, eating snacks, best
room to smell food cooking slow,
watch sixty minutes under a quilt
with a hot cup of tea,

I just walked back out
to see the room again, I
find it inspiring, how
exciting changing things
around to fit even better

think I'll get a cold beer
celebrate,

we now have room for another
book shelf and a vase.
