I lay awake at night
Just lookin' up at the ceiling,
Praying up to the Heavens,
Hoping for a miracle to happen.

Gettin' lost into my words,
All of a sudden silence breaks.
Feelin' my eyes startin' to close,
I shut them as I go to sleep.

Still able to hear around me,
I zone out into a deeper world.
I start to toss and turn as
I begin to dream of nothing but peacefulness.

Not able to hear around me,
I lay quietly and still.
A picture forms into my head,
A happy dream of love and care.

I've always wondered if
Dreams do come true and
I guess afterall, they really do
Cuz I've found happiness in my life.
