I am just; said the Lord, the great I AM
I spoke to the to the billows and made them calm
I command the wind and the waves of the sea
And I will give you peace if you come unto me
I healed the sick; the dumb and the blind
Rest to the weary and peace of mind
Salvation to all those who give
Their hearts to me that they might live
I name the stars that hang in space
I am holy; full of love and grace
I see the sparrow that flutters and falls
And hears the prayer of the sinner who calls
Help me Lord for I am burdened with sin
My weary heart is aching within
The waves are raging; I long for the calm
I come to my Saviour just as I am
A burdened sinner Lord; lift it from me
Unloose the shackles of sin; I long to be free
My soul is sinking under the flood
Let me come and shelter under the blood
You; who calmed the sea when billows did toss
Climbed Calvary hill to die on the cross
Claimed the victory over death and the grave
I call on you risen Lord my soul to save
With repentant heart I call unto thee
Knowing dear Lord you will not cast out me
When I come just as I am
And put my trust in the blood of the Lamb
Just as I am; when the billows roll
Save me dear Lord and give peace to my soul
Then when the storm rages, I will find a haven of calm
Anchored in safety to the Just I Am
