I Am His Child
I Am His Child
I am His child
he is my Father
he will always protect me
because I am part of Him
when life seems full of hardships
I can be comforted
the trials of life will never quit
but He weathers my storms
always by my side
I am part of the flock
He will come for me
when He comes back
Oh how I am grateful
Oh how He renews
my spirit is replenished
by his loving hands
He lifts me up
just like a Father would do
never abandoning
always listening
He gives me hope
I am His child
through good and bad
He sees my every move
resides in my heart
I am never truly alone
His love for me has never parted
when I started living to please Him
that is when real happiness started
a joy unlike no other
a peace indescribable
because....
I am His child
I understand my path
the narrow road I walk
with my Father
one day I shall be home at last
Father reunited with his child
Heaven my Father has built
within the gates
awaits my space
one day I shall roam that beautiful place
