GOD'S GRACE IS AMAZING

These tiles on my patio table
Are an act of grace
They are part of God's love for me
I try to keep them in place

When I picked them up at Conifer Lodge
I filled both pockets of my shorts
I thought they were all blue
They are one of God's supports

They are like an intuition, dream
Or Freudian slip
I tell close friends there was just enough
For my design to equip

And I didn't count them
I just laid them in my car
When I made the "C" for Conifer and the "A" frame design
I knew God gave me a star

A star to shine forever
A design so very clever
Just for me to comprehend
Just God's grace for me to transcend

I believe in miracles
I believe in God's grace
Unconsciousness where God resides
Consciousness where his guidance and direction come into place

It meant so much to me
To visit Snoqualmie Pass
To see my foster mom and dad near there
My foster dad isn't going to last

He is dying of cancer
I have pictures to remember him
And God gave me those tiles as a answer
To have a tangible prayer for both of them

See they gave me what my biological parents couldn't
Which was a loving, functional, home
I will forever love them for this
All though my life, where ever I may roam

God's grace has always been there for me
It can be there for you too
All you have to do is have some quiet prayer time
And it will come to you

As we grow old
We grow to become one with God
God is in our minds
He's love, he spares the rod

His gentleness it lasts forever
His faith and hope are heavenly pleasure
His love it knows no bounds
He's there in you to learn to treasure

I pray you treasure him my friend
You are a part of his grace too
Because when you said I could send my poetry
I knew God gave me and angel in you

And maybe as a scientist
You find it hard to believe
Miracles are not repeatable or measured
They are there for God to leave

He leaves them as a loving gift
He leaves them to the rich and poor
He gives them to those who believe
In love---and it's bountiful store.
