NO LOOKING


I hid my eyes from you today
I didn't want you to see
As always you went on your way
Just left me alone to be

Tonight you didn't call at all
You probably think I don't care
I'm probably in for a long fall
As I'm here and you're there

With you I doubt my sanity
I wonder why I am involved
When inside this calamity
No answers or my problems solved

Too guilty to look at your eyes
As they look into my brain
You're not God in those blue skies
Instead you only bring me pain.
