No Lock
No Lock
So little time....
and the days fly like the birds
and to breath your love
is what feeling complete is compared to
and I could let you go
give you all the hugs until hello again
just so you know I keep you with
you are my dearest friend
There's a room in my heart for you
no lock on the door you just come right through
I'll leave the light on like I always do
a welcome mat always ready
you hold my other half up so well
you are my rock steady
The details no matter how small...never escape you
just the small talk and when needed silent company
is so much appreciated....how blessed I am to have you
so pure and true....like daylight's morning dew
clear and slowing dropping
you let me in without needing me
mutual respect....endless loyalty
what can I say other than
in the worst of times
you simply seen me through
and there is a room all decorated
resides in my heart....the tone is warm
no lock on the door, it's just here waiting
and the light is always on
just in case you ever need to crash
in case you need a shoulder to cry on
or someone to have your back
true friendships
comes with no locks.....
