If you don't live it out

The things they see you do
They gloat; they note

No Christ they see in you
You bear His name
But bring shame
By things you say and do
Not at the Book
Will sinners look
But the Bible they read is you
You pray; you say
That the light
Shines through you from Him
You won't; you don't
Illuminate the night
Through you the light is dim
Your life is seen
Live it clean
Bring honour to the Master
Don't bring shame
To His name
Your witness will be disaster
You spout; you shout
It is true
Sinners must be born again
You stress; you press
They say no
Your witness is poor to them
Oh don't bring doubt
Live it out
The Christian life you claim
And now begin
To sinners win
By honouring His holy name
