IN THE WIND

He let's her buck on a bike
That's the kind of man I like
Hooting, hollering, yelling, following
Him down the hills, both gliding on our wheels

Go for a walk in the woods
See the flowers they're so good
Or the trees, river, birds, and skies
Put some sparkle in our eyes

Teach me how to better cross-country ski
To not be so afraid, to go free
Gliding, turning, snowbound learning
That's the kind of man I'm yearning

Take out my braid and stroke my hair
Hold my hand and say, "I care"
Rub my shoulders, fertilize my yard
Give me himself when things get hard

Write for me once in a while
Keep me thinking, make me smile
Go on with that slow teasing
With words to me that are so pleasing

Give me an allowance
Control the money
Then I don't have to worry
Sweet, baby, honey

Have a soft upper hand
Be the man
Let her be the girl
It will mean the world

Take her strongly in your arms
Drink in all her divine charms
Love her in a dress
Make it easy for her to say "yes"

Teach her everything you know
In a way she'll remember so
Then she won't ever forget
To repay you for her debt

In a sweet and quiet way
She dreams and writes of a someday
When on her bike riding in the wind
She might find this kind of man and friend...
