simplistically complex,
You allow your soul to pilot your journey
as your crossroads in life,
are chosen within context
You are prismatic reflections
Of your kaleidoscopic kindred beauty
Easily seen within your eyes' as a mirror
You are not sight without colour,
Blindfolded for eternity, thru fingers sift
Or your innate spirit, would surely disappear
You are forever young
With wisdom and grace
Priceless, wholesome and dear
You are not to be seen thru tunneled vision
Of mere black and white images
Rather, felt in droplets, of each and every tear
Sometimes people cross our path in life
For no apparent reason at all
With mere timing of precision to it.
Needing no answers for enrichment
Having faith to trust and feel your way, and
Accepting fated destiny's ‘just do it'
Mysteriously, somehow, someway
You find that missing link
Between your heart, and your mind
The never forgotten belief in YOU takes over
As your soul is once again singing in tune
The essence of insights, no longer acting blind
When you need that one last little nudge
Of encouraging applause
And end up believing in YOU, to survive
You find all your dormant emotions
Which have been taken for granted, for so long
Erupting and vibrantly coming alive.
Finding yourself, smiling more from deep inside
Walking your walk, prouder and taller
Your heart sings your songs of life and praise
With eyes that glisten from faith and hope
Your words are spoken with confidence as well as charm.
Recaptured visions, and looking forward to brighter days
You recall what having high hopes
