Wish You Well

Wish You Well

Put all the past in a box
all that pain in detox
call in a higher power
a gust of wind
has made all this negative energy snap
and today it starts I am smashing
today it starts I am trashing
all the people that has kept me trapped in a bottle

and from this point
I can see the mountain top
I am changing like a butterfly
tears I wipe cleanly from my red eyes
I am in uncharted territory
now longer am I fading
but I am no longer stuck in mud
I am happy....a sense of scenary is changing

shelf all the words that you have used against me
I don't have time to bear your weight
or carry your sins
I am turning my other cheek
forgiveness I grant
but my memory serves me still well
my brain will intersect
so my heart won't cheat
I won't let you use my soft touch
I won't be your doormat....

So from this view
I can see the footsteps I made
the wings I grew
no longer am I in my cage
I don't hate....I hold no grudge
and it's all because
I choose God's hope
I choose God's love
I choose God's compassion
oh how I wish you well....
