How Time Flies
How time flies
When you are having fun,
You are celebrating a birthday
And your life has just begun.
I can see pictures of your first birthday
Running through my mind,
You were dressed in a cute outfit
And were quite handsome, I did find.
Sitting at the table
Showing off your pearly whites,
Next to daddy, with your presents and cake
You couldn't wait to have a bite.
Funny how time flies
You are now a young man,
Daddy and I miss the times
When we guided you through life, by the hand.
