My Oldest Daughter, The Poet

My oldest daughter, the poet
Wrote her first Shakespearean Sonnet,
She drew a poem style out of a hat
Just in her classroom today.

She asked me to help her
With this certain style,
I didn't mind at all
I hoped I had one written, in my poetry pile.

I have a few Sonnets penned
But, didn't know if I had a Shakespearean one done,
She had a hard time writing it out
I don't think she had any fun.

I have it saved in a folder
Her name's on it, it's just for her,
My oldest daughter, the poet
Being taught, by her mother.
