Why Do You Hurt Me?
Why do you hurt me?
I asked for you to do the dishes,
I am your mother
And you're supposed to respect my wishes.
I do everything I can
To see you through life,
And all you do is put me
Through every day strife.
Why do you hurt me?
All you do is mouth off,
You don't do that with your father
I have a right to scoff.
You act like your step-sister
Look at what happened to her,
She ended up being in a foster home
That's where you'll end up, if we don't find a cure.
