Boys Fish For Frogs
Out on the lake
In a wooden boat,
Boys fish for frogs
They listen for croaks.
They spy one on a log
Croaking through the day,
They try their best
Not to let it get away.
They jump in the lake face first
And are a astonished, at what they see,
An even bigger frog
Clapping spoons together, on his knee.
They will never forget this day
Out on the lake in a wooden boat,
The day they saw that big frog
The one that played spoons and croaked.
