This could be the day
Our Lord God comes back
What will you say
Are you on the right track
This could be the day
He comes to save His sheep
Will He take you away
Or will He leave you here to weep
The time is coming
the signs are in the air
You must stop your running
you must be aware
Let no one deceive you
with their foolish lies
Claiming to be the savior
claiming to be Christ
Do not be alarmed
when you hear of wars
These things all must happen
they are following the course
You must be on guard
you will be attacked
You may be arrested
may be called a maniac
You must be a witness
to those who persecute you
You must not worry
The Holy Spirit will be with you
You will be hated
because of your faith
But those who stand firm
in the end will be saved
