This was written for me by a dear friend Guy Dan Schuyler,
I was worried about his absence from here at poetrypoem
He let me know that his Father passed away, my heart goes
out to him and his family. I also thank him from the bottom
of my heart for this lovely write I'll cherish it.nana5
I cast away my strings
of which the puppet play
To taste of grand Ambrosia
of the love you send my way
I hear the song of birds
that dance in skies so blue
Creating unique music
that lovers share in view
So dance upon a Petal
of flowers never seen
Drink from cups of nothing
travel free within your dreams
Then taste the lips of promise
from which love flows so deep
Clap hands of immortality
where your other half can keep
Becoming and yet so different
each pathway you shall cleave
To always have a friend
in the love you know and believe.
