You never thought I cared
Well open up your eyes,
Cuz darlin', I do.
You've had your heart broken
One too many aweful times.
You say it's hard for you
To ever love someone again.
Baby, look at me in the face
Look at me in my eyes & look
At the smile that's upon my face
Cuz baby...I do love you.
Why are you so afraid?
Why are you so scared?
Quit hiding in the dark,
And let me love you till dawn.
It's time to let the past go
It's time to live in the present
It's time to hold my hand
C'mon and let me love you.
Take that wall down
And face me.
Let me mend that
Broken heart and spirit.
I won't hurt you
I won't let you go
I won't use you
I just want to love you.
