He took me in and held me closely
He took me in and gave me food
He took me in and gave me water
He took me in and gave me a home.
Never once did He leave me
Never once did He walk away
Never once did He not listen to me
Never once did He abandoned His child.
He walked with me through all my days
He carried me when I was down
He healed me when I was sick
He was there for me and He still is.
Standing beside me, watching me
I can feel His presence near me.
Standing beside me, holding me
Telling me to open up my heart.
He shielded me and protected me
From all harm that may come my way.
He guided me in the right direction
When I was headed in the wrong.
My Jesus.....Jesus is His name
My Holy Saviour, My Redeemer
My Father, My Friend, My Creator
Thank you Jesus for everything.
