I Wish The Wind!
I wish the wind would go away
And haunt another space.
It's rattling on the red tin roof
And cooling down the place!
My hair is blowing in my eyes
And getting in my mouth.
Leaves are swirling everywhere,
North, west, east and south!
Sticks and branches from the trees
Are flying in full force.
I cannot see too clear ahead,
I'm getting right off course!
The sun is hiding far away,
The clouds all frown on me.
I think I'll go inside and have
A lovely cup of tea!
Joy Weare.
