Living a Holy Life Living for Jesus makes life worthwhile. He alone turns your frown to a smile. There is comfort and peace deep inside, When Jesus lives in your heart to abide. In following Him, there is a price to pay. But the rewards are far greater each day. He gives each of us a free will to choose. With Jesus by your side, what can you lose? God wants all of you, not just a part. Come to Him and give Him your heart. Allow His Spirit to take control. He will make you completely whole. He may ask you to give up some things. Be willing to obey the King of Kings. We are not to live in the world's ways. But be a light, shining for Him always. Maybe there are bad habits that are hard to break, A temptation, sin, or burden that is too great. It may be an addiction to alcohol or drugs. Maybe it is abuse and no one to give you hugs. . Maybe it is internet pictures of you appealing to the eyes, With captions that call for affection and attract other guys. There may be a friend who sees you going astray, But they don't want to hurt you by what they say. Maybe you see yourself in one of the things above. God knows all you need is His unconditional love. What steps will you take to make things right, To live a life that is pleasing in God's sight? Phillippians 4:8 (NIV) Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
