MOM
You always
made sure you
showed us the beauty
in life, such as giving,
reading to us, doing the voices
to all the character's,
flowers, fountains, cleanliness,
arbors, the truth, imagination, unconditional
love, Art,
no matter the bad
and the bad came as hard
as it comes, you showed us
the beauty, cooking for your
family, smelling the house with
cinnamon, slow cooked magic, always
understanding, always on our side, a home,
you showed us what a home is, what a home
should be, pain would come, sadness, frustration,
disappointment, shocks...
you cooked us home, always little presents,
always some thing to tell us you care, that
you love us, that you're thinking of us,
quiet steady strength, made of quilt and steel,
you taught us how to find beauty
in this world.
