God's Most Beautiful Angel-A Mother's Grief

Twilight

Twilight

Twilight is the subtle time that lies between day and night.
When things begin to darken and not be quite so bright.

It is the time when I see children meander home the yearning for sunshine still glowing on their faces.
When mothers and fathers return from work ending their 9-5 races.

The time when brothers and sisters wait for signs of who will be the first to catch their parents glance.
When cooking begins, streetlights flicker, the earth smells new and fireflies begin their dance.

The time I can look up and see millions of wishes made upon stars making their journeys into heaven above.
The only light I see to guide them is the one that shines through love.

It is the only time I know of when the sound of crickets can be out done by the sound of my heart breaking free.
While slowly peace consumes me and sleep caresses me like a warm breeze.

When my dreams begin to conjure and whirl about like clouds inside my mind.
Just waiting to erupt and cast their spell at the perfect time.

Beloved daughter…it is the time I see you as you were here among the living.
So young…so warm…so beautiful…so giving.
