And so we bond.

choose the very best, or kid yourself
Five satin petals,
curving backwards,
grace the pastel flow,
of a masterpiece,
no artist's brush
could ever paint as grand,
here striking patterns blend,
and each in vibrant colors show,
that no two are alike,
uniquely formed,
by heavenly plans,
when plucked,
the humble stem and leaves
that helped this beauty grow,
are left to mourn the loss,
of God's best work
to eager hands.
