GENTLE BREEZE.......Loving Him

 what was I thinking......
where is the love you promise me
when you place that ring on my finger
I thought it was for keeps...but you sure
fooled me....you reach deep in your soul
just to produce a lie...spoke your heart touching vows
with tear drops in your eye....had me thinking I finally
found a real man....but I keep forgetting a real man
doesn't need to be found...because he has nothing to hide
instead he'll continue to seek after my love....

I should have known something was wrong
when you showed up late...and when it came
time to say I do...instead of looking at me.... you
looked the other away...and the kiss....
tasted like I hate I did this...you kissed me
like I were a child that had done a good deed...
(lol)....I can't believe I fell for your trap....
I ought to slap my own damn self.....

to be continued.....
